“The last thing you want to worry about in trial is tech. In a world of testimony by zoom, surgical animations, exhibits on the fly, and taped video deposition edits made and played on the fly... there is only one try or die - Rackico."

— Robert Simon, Co-Founder of Simon Law Group

Meet the FOUNDERS

  • Founder

The founding of Rackico is anything but traditional. Dave Racki moved from Massachusetts to Los Angeles in pursuit of a career in acting. Over the course of almost two decades, not only did he appear in several major films and TV shows, but he also began a photography business with his brother, a well-established lawyer in the Boston area. Coincidentally enough, Dave would go on to play in the LA Baseball League with a handful of some of the best trial lawyers in California. It was through these connections that Dave understood his next undertaking.

Dave became a pinch-hitter ‘media guy’ for attorney teams trying to expand their reach over online platforms. Through podcasts and other social content, he helped firms create their own distinctive brand. As his exposure to the courtroom-tech world grew exponentially, Dave discovered that there were many trial-related stress factors that could easily be relieved by having a dedicated technician for each trial. As a result, Dave developed a system for the courtroom that would include a fully immersive setup of technology, as well as meeting all printing and stationery needs. Most importantly, Dave built a team of hard-working and qualified techs ready to serve their attorney teams beyond the push of a button; his team is success-driven, and they always take initiative. Rackico techs endeavor into the creative as they help build a case guaranteed to capture the heart of the matter through visuals.

Today, Rackico is now the Preferred Vendor for Justice HQ, a tech-driven, collaborative work-hub for attorneys to create a more modern approach to Law. We are thrilled about this partnership, and focused on building the future of trial presentation together.

  • COO

Dina is a graduate of the Professional Writing Program at Champlain College and has created freelance content for a variety of publications, websites, and blogs over the last decade. As one of the original Rackico Techs, Dina worked closely with founder Dave Racki to expand and create a company that would be at the forefront of technology and innovation in the courtroom. She is an advocate for implementing a system that works for attorneys of every generation; those who can benefit from the ease our service provides while never compromising their style or method – only simply aiming to elevate it.

She now manages caseloads, communications, marketing, and branding while creating content for Rackico’s website and social media platforms. She is passionate about her team, focusing on defining the Rackico brand by the exceptional performance of its techs.

When Dina is not balancing cases and content, she is aspiring to write the next best-selling novel. Most often you can find her reading a good book, enjoying coffee or wine with friends and family, or cheering on her favorite Boston sports team.

Meet our Trial Techs

  • Gordon grew up in small-town Massachusetts, where one could often find him with a video game controller in his little, nerdy hands. He received a BFA in Musical Theater from Syracuse University, and after several years of singing and dancing his heart out in New York, he worked as a video editor in several film production houses and moved to Los Angeles.

Now, Gordon is a co-Founder for the upcoming Yuga app and a founding member of Freedom and Bliss, where he is building an online platform to facilitate weekly yoga and guided meditation groups. He lives in the Ananda Yoga Ashram in downtown LA where he helps lead workshops and group meditations.

  • Josh is a business professional with over 15 years’ experience in innovative technologies and the services they provide. He is a communication expert with a fierce attention to detail. Josh has always been passionate about social justice and is driven to see a fair legal system for all. He strives to use his skills and the appropriate tech available to serve those in need.

When he is not in a trial hotseat, he enjoys traveling, hockey, and good conversation. In his free time, Josh builds creative virtual reality experiences and has long term dreams of launching a nonprofit company to address world hunger.
